The city mist has seeped too deep inside

Breathing in Beijing is unhealthy. On bad days, the pollution is like a surreal mist hugging the city that is a home to so many people. While I was staying in China, I realized that no matter the pressing circumstances, the charm and fascination of life itself is still visible in the everyday. Using my camera, I tried to catch this, looking for color in this poetry of o'paqueness. Pictures are taken between 2012 and 2014 while I studied at Peking University [北大].
